Music Synaesthesia is made from two elements of a song to determine a visual matter or concept. This allows music video directors to visualise what the music video should be by listening to lyrics, sound and musical arrangement. By doing so, it enables the director to visualise whether the music video should be either a narrative, performance or disjuncture genre.
Roland Barthes theory of "The Grain of Voice" shows that sounds and titles that can be understood can also be iconic in relation to the song choice or artist.
